Supporting Mental Health & Wellbeing in Our School

At our school, we are committed to nurturing the emotional wellbeing and mental health of every child. We work closely with specialist local services to provide early help, mentoring, targeted interventions and clear pathways for additional support. Below is an overview of the support available to pupils and families.

Wellbeing and Emotional Support Team in Schools (WEST)

We are proud to work with Grace and Sam from the Wellbeing and Emotional Support Teams in Schools (WEST). These teams provide early intervention for children and young people aged 5–18, delivering short‑term 1:1 and group support using CBT‑based approaches for anxiety, low mood, wellbeing and behavioural difficulties. They also run assemblies and whole‑school activities to promote resilience across the school community.
